The fabric is like a soft felted velvet wool it is remarkable! The brim is small and chic with a bit of a mannish feel and the crown is cut slightly high. It has just a hint of a dip on its crown that you can deepen if you wish to give it a more fedora feel, A wide silk satin band that is just over 2" high finishes it perfectly and the subtle
