It is made of layers of gossamer weight silk chiffon a difficult fabric to work with under any circumstance. Galanos cut it on the bias, layered it and made it all work perfectly. Three layers of chiffon float over the inner silk skirt. The top layer is a soft turquoise and the ones underneath are a pale ice blue. This really gives the skirt an interesting texture and depth and makes for a pretty
