I just cant get enough of this fabulous little bright and vivid tangerine orange shift by the great Normal Norell

Hand painted and hand finished

The inner silk satin dress serves as the lining

The belt has darkened with age but it in good shape

It is constructed from a coated cotton that allows it to be light and easy to wear during the warmer months but retain its shape and feel more "coat like" then it would be otherwise

The fabric is strong and it is a wonderfully constructed garment. This is a stunning robe that has a beautiful black velvet pattern on a silk chiffon base. This is layered over an interior cream silk base and the edges of the sleeves, collar and hem are then finished with wide panels of a fine silk.
