His name is best known for the collaboration with his wife Simonetta, whom with for three years they ran the Simonetta et Fabiani label from 1962 1965 66. Both before and after that until her retired in the early 1970s he designed solely under his own label. This dress is from the latter part of his career and is quite wonderful.
