Indigo dye is a natural blue dye that has been used for thousands of years to dye textiles. It is one of the oldest dyes known to humans, with the oldest known indigo dyed cloth found in Peru dating back 6,000 years. It is also the only natural blue dye. Garments are dyed through repeated dips into an indigo vat. A balanced, loose silhouette informed by traditional
