Main Conveyor Size:L a separate structure purpose-built toA conveyor belt climbs steeply through the remnant crusher plant at Hornsby Quarry, its steel rollers still seated in their frames, mesh stairs running parallel up the structure. Dust coats the cross bracing and metalwork throughout. The plant processed crushed dolerite for road base and aggregate across northern Sydney from around 1905 until quarrying ceased in 2002.
