The handle has a small border of swirls or curly cues around the edges. The spoon has a ball knob or foot rest on the back of the handle. This is a nice feature which prevents the spoon from falling into a large roasting pan or bowl. The end of the handle is monogrammed with AHS in an elegant script. The back of the handle
