Ironmungie Road Woolshed Size:XS empty and shadowedMismatched corrugated iron panels cover the walls of this large rural woolshed, rust bleeding across the ridgeline where the sheets meet. The gable end faces open pasture under a heavy, cloud layered sky. Corrugated galvanised iron became the dominant cladding material for Australian rural buildings from the 1850s, suited to a pastoral climate that asked a lot of its structures.
