San Ildefonso Plate by Margaret Lou Gutierrez Fully Imbricated The red triangles alternate betweenThis is an unusual blackware plate made by the well respected San Ildefonso potter, Margaret Lou Gutierrez (! 934 2018). The design is complicated with an Avanyu head and cloud design in a circle in the middle and painted feathers around the upper one third of the plate and various other designs around the rest of the piece. The plate is in excellent condition and has never been repaired. D. 11 1 8" c. 1970 #8326
