Junction Orchard & Cidery - Frost & Fire Cider saline white winesOn the season's first frost, our cidermaker lit a fire to char orange peels and smoke bay, sage, and cardoon leaves. While still warm they were then combined with our barrel aged blackberry dessert cider and mulling spices. After a months rest it was blended with dry cider and bottled with a slight effervescence.
