A Tanzanian imperial malaya garnet with a subtle color shift depending on lighting from red to an orangish-red

Beautifully cut and shows pink red and purple depending on lighting

Typically chrome kornerupine are not fluorescent but I assume that this stone has just the right amount of chromium to give it this unusual color while still allowing it to fluoresce under UV light

This material is also called dragon garnet by some in the gem trade
