This silver charm was converted from an antique stick pin (circa 1900-1910) by removing the stem and adding a jump ring bail

The open shoulders of the band complement the shield design and are accented with matching white enamel

while the 14k gold lever backs are later additions

and a natural ruby

The top of the ring is 14k white gold; while the shank (a later replacement) is platinum. The face of the ring measures 0. 7 inches by 0. 55 inches wide, and the ring is in great condition. It is currently a size 7, but can be resized
