Blood Characteristic Simulant (BCS) 500mL ics acute thrombusBlood Characteristic Simulant is formulated to match the characteristics of human blood including pH and specific gravity. We strive to replicate lubricity and viscosity but have not tested these to indicate they are within range of human blood. Products are sold in units supporting 500mL of fluid using Reverse Osmosis water. Use of any water other than RO water may alter final parameters of BCS.
