2009 Réserve de la Comtesse, Pauillac, Bordeaux Bordeaux First Growth and a long warming finishThere's been much talk about the 2009 Chteau Pichon Lalande, a contender for wine of the vintage, but its second wine was also a real treat this year. The Rserve de la Comtesse really has a lot of the grace and flair of the Grand Vin. Sweet and intoxicating on the nose, plump and succulent on the palate, this is a juicy gem far better than in 2005.
