One of my favorite perspectives of the Colorado State Capitol is from Civic Center Park

On this visit to City Park I went to a familiar spot and zoomed into the city a little to capture the fresh grass of spring at the park on this spring day in Denver

The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

With many of the trees filled with fall colors I also found some had just a few reminders of the season as the majority of their leaves had fallen

An April snowstorm visited the Denver and once the storm had ended I went out to explore around the city

As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
