Blue Horsehair Raku Horse 789 fish mug The background is a deepThis listing is for one horse sculpture. The horse is number 789 in the horse series. 9. 75"h x 10. 5"l. This horse is handmade completely from clay. After forming the horse, it was colored in a light blue clay and burnished with a soft cloth to create a smooth finish. Once bisque fired, it was fired in a raku kiln and while the piece was red hot, it was removed from the kiln and actual horse hair was burned onto the surface to create the black lines.
