Sunset in Greenland Presentation:Matted It was an overcast day

It was an overcast day but this allowed for the low clouds to set the scene as I looked towards Po Lin Monastery

The last stop I made was at Willis Case Golf Course in northwest Denver

The building is open to the public and features a large 3D map of Iceland which you can view in the lower level of the building

Putting my ice cream down on a warm February day I captured the lines of the water coming on the beach

The lines which continue through the frame but allow the three individual buildings each with a different material on the exterior lets the viewer explore these materials as well

Sunset in Greenland Presentation:Matted It was an overcast dayFrom the back of the M V Ocean Nova I watched the sunset as we sailed south through the a fjord in the Northeast Greenland National Park. The layers of the rocks and water itself helped ground the image to provide a sense of place with the orange sky during dusk which also lit up the only clouds I saw on this day. While this was in early September, it would only be a couple of months until this area is frozen over with sea ice for the winter.
