All  but one brass Green Howards buttons present - one of the top front ones is missing

The headband is worn and loose from the cap but will stay in place

A small number have sections cut away

With white wool stand up collar and cuffs with silver lace frogging and Austrian knots, fastened by hooks twenty five silver plated half ball buttons flanked by twenty five pairs of half ball buttons Named by hand to RW Slack inside both sleeves and dated 1889. White felt facings on the collar and cuffs. Chest Size approx 39
