The area was filled with people sledding on the fresh snow

I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver

By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated City and County Building

My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening

In Denver one morning a few years ago I noticed a different look then what was expected in the reflection from one building

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" The area was filled withTaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
