It is made from Harris Tweed, a distinct herringbone patterned wool fabric in a lovely rust brown tone. It is a heavy tweed fabric of a type that is very difficult to find today. The jacket has a timeless cut. It is single breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole.
